Restylane Refyne

What is Restylane Refyne?

Restylane Refyne is a hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler that softens or smooths the laugh lines, i.e., the nasolabial folds around your nose and the marionette lines around your mouth. Refyne is different from all other Restylane products because it is manufactured with a unique XpresHAn Technology that ensures natural and subtle results that allow you to emote freely without betraying signs of cosmetic work.

How does Restylane Refyne Work?

As you grow older, your face gradually loses its natural elasticity and collagen, leading to sagging skin, laxity, and wrinkles. Over time, the creases around your mouth and nose become more prominent. Restylane Refyne is made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occurring gel that adds volume and binds moisture to the skin. When injected into the facial tissues with laugh lines, the hyaluronic acid plumps up the skin and reduces the folds.

Restylane Refyne Treatment Overview

Step 1: Consultation

Your Restylane Refyne consultation starts with a detailed consultation with our providers. They examine your facial skin, review your medical history, and discuss your cosmetic goals and expectations. If you’re a viable candidate, they curate a treatment plan by identifying the ideal injection spots and calibrating the filler dosage.

Step 2: Procedure

The cosmetic provider will cleanse the treatment areas and mark the injection spots to ensure precise injections. Restylane Refyne already includes an anesthetic component called lidocaine, so topical anesthesia isn’t necessary. However, if you’re anxious, you can ask for numbing cream. The provider carefully injects Restylane Refyne into the treatment areas with ultrafine needles.

Step 3: Recovery

You’ll experience swelling, redness, itching, irritation, and firmness around the treatment spots for about a week after the treatment. However, the side effects are easily manageable with cold compresses and pain medications (if necessary). There’s no downtime, and you can resume most of your activities immediately, though you’ll be asked to avoid alcohol and heavy exercises for at least 24 hours.

Restylane Refyne Results

Restylane Refyne produces immediate results, but you can only appreciate those stunning results once the side effects dissipate. The results last for up to 12 months with optimal treatment, following which you’ll need maintenance treatments. Your provider will curate a Restylane Refyne treatment schedule to help you maintain the results.
